Pheasant Hollow Taxidermy studio is owned and operated by Daryl Keyes in Columbus, NE. Daryl is a Columbus native, with over 35 years of experience in taxidermy. Daryl is skilled in all areas of taxidermy, able to recreate lifelike gameheads, birds, mammals, and fish. Daryl excels at custom-made mounts that are altered to your specific pose, mixed with unique habitat, making a one-of-a-kind mount. Daryl works with each mount as if it were his own and puts a great deal of pride into his work. Daryl continues to hone his skill in taxidermy by competing and continually attending seminars. Daryl knows that we will never be able to attain the perfection of the Creator but does his best to do justice to the Created.
With several employees under his care, Daryl is able to maintain a reasonable turnaround time for your mount. Having most mounts finished in 12 months or less is an important goal to all of the staff at Pheasant Hollow. All of the mounts still receive the personal care and attention of Daryl, as if it were going into his personal collection. You will receive only the best of materials and quality of work at Pheasant Hollow and will have a mount that you can be proud of.

All of the staff at Pheasant Hollow invite you to stop by and see our showroom, as well as mounts in process. Pheasant Hollow has an open shop policy, which allows the customers to see the work as it is being done, and anyone is welcome during business hours.
